Beverly received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. and a women’s health nurse practitioner certificate from Emory University in Atlanta.
She has more than 33 years of experience in nursing, including labor and delivery, medical/surgical, acute care, public health, obstetrics, gynecology and total women’s health.
Since becoming a nurse practitioner 23 years ago, Beverly has focused on women’s care, specifically the holistic needs of women of all ages. She has served as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students from the Medical University of South Carolina, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. In addition to her clinical practice, she works as an adjunct clinical instructor for Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, S.C.
Beverly also volunteers at the Free Medical Clinic of Newberry County each week. She established a gynecology clinic there in 2005. When she’s not working to improve women’s health, she enjoys camping, hiking, water sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children and grandson.
